Vision & Mission

Our Vision

We are a caring community connecting people with God

Our Mission

To grow closer to God, build relationships with and serve our community.

Our Logo includes the following 4 actions starting with “C” to help us understand how our actions should reflect our faith and fulfil our vision and mission.

Celebrate     God's presence in worship

True worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers that the Father seeks. (John 4:23)     To "love God with all your heart"  is WORSHIP.

Cultivate     Growth in God's people

Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. (2Peter 3:18)     To "teach them all things" is DISCIPLESHIP.

Care     For others by  sharing God's love

Love one another as I have loved you. For, by this, all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. (John 13:34-35)      To "love your neighbour as yourself"  is MINISTRY.

Communicate     God's word to the people

The Lord does not want anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. (2Peter 3:9)     To "go...make disciples"  is EVANGELISM.

Our Church constitution includes the following doctrinal basis to help you understand how we interpret the bible.

Doctrinal Basis

  1. The Divine Inspiration and supreme authority of the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments.

  2. The existence of One God in Three Persons - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

  3. The Deity and Incarnation of the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the Son of God, the second person in the Holy Trinity.

  4. The fallen, sinful and lost estate of all mankind.

  5. The salvation of men from the penal consequences and the power of sin, through the perfect obedience of the Lord Jesus Christ, His atoning death, His resurrection from the Dead, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His unchanging Priesthood.

  6. The Immediate work of the Holy Spirit in the regeneration of men, in their sanctification, and in their preservation to the Heavenly Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  7. The necessity, in order to salvation, of repentance towards God, and of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

  8. The resurrection of the Dead, the final judgment of all men by the Lord Jesus Christ.

  9. The two Ordinances of the Lord Jesus Christ, namely Baptism and the Lord's Supper (communion), which are of continual obligation:

Baptism being the immersion of believers upon the profession of their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and a symbol of the fellowship of the regenerate in His death, burial and resurrection;

The Lord's Supper (communion) being a memorial of the sacrifice of the body and blood of the Lord Jesus Christ until He comes again.
