Sunday Services at the Church Building Map
Sunday's main service starts at 10am and run for about 90 minutes, followed by an opportunity to socialise and chat over morning tea.
People sometimes feel apprehensive, even nervous when they make contact with strangers and new places for the first time…that’s understandable.
Here, at Hampton Park Baptist Church (HPBC), everyone is welcome, things are pretty informal and dress is casual so we’re sure you’ll feel at home!
A normal service begins with a couple of songs, a welcome and some church news, followed by a time to connect with God through musical worship.
There is always a Bible based message designed to help apply God's word to real life.
An opportunity for personal prayer with one of our leaders or pastoral care team is available after the service.
Then, meet some new people in the foyer over morning tea, a time to get some questions answered ...or ... you might want to make a quick exit!
Throughout the year we have special services for Easter, Fathers' Day, Mothers' Day, and Christmas. We love to celebrate with our church family on the occasion of a Baby Dedication,
a Baptism, and to welcome to new members. Sometimes, we just have lunch together because we can. The food and people are fabulous.
Every now and then a guest speaker will take part of the service and, from time to time, church members will share their personal testimonies. We are a place of new hope and new beginnings.
We have a quiet room for parents and babies to the right side of our auditorium for use during the service. There is also a baby change table in the disabled person toilet.
Musicians & AV Team

The musicians, singers, projectionists, and sound teams do a great job of providing great contemporary worship each week. The teams meet before the service to rehearse the music, presentations, slides and other items to be used during the service.
There are also fortnightly practice sessions at the church to hone their skills and help new people develop confidence and ability to serve with them.
Is this where God is calling you?
Prayer Group

Prayer is an important part of church life and we have a fantastic group who meet before the service each week in the greenroom (upstairs and to the right) to pray over the day’s service, the people, and other events and activities.
Maybe God is asking you to join them?
